Drama & You
An interactive workshop facilitated by Award-winning Actor/Singer Sutara Gayle aka Lorna Gee
Drama & You is more than an acting workshop.
It is a creative space where improvisation, storytelling and play become powerful tools for self-expression, confidence and connection.
Whether you’re an actor, writer, singer, performer, or someone who’s simply curious to explore your creativity, these workshops offer a welcoming environment where everyone can participate, regardless of experience.
Using improvisation, personal storytelling and collaborative exercises, participants are encouraged to trust their instincts, find their authentic voice and discover new ways of expressing themselves. There is no pressure to perform perfectly. The emphasis is on curiosity, creativity and the joy of being fully present.
Time and again, participants tell me they leave with greater confidence, a deeper sense of freedom, stronger creative instincts and a renewed belief in themselves. While rooted in drama, the benefits often extend far beyond the rehearsal room into everyday life.

Award-winning actor, singer and writer Lorna Gee (aka Sutara Gayle) has been facilitating drama, improvisation and performance workshops for many years. Drawing on decades of professional experience in theatre, television, music and community arts, she creates inspiring, inclusive spaces where people feel safe to explore, create and grow.
Whether working with complete beginners or experienced performers, Sutara’s approach is playful, encouraging and deeply collaborative, helping people discover not only their creative potential but also the confidence to bring it into the world.
“There is no pressure to be good. There’s only an invitation to be yourself.”
From London to Portugal…
Most recently, I facilitated an intensive drama and improvisation workshop in Alentejo, Portugal, bringing together people from different backgrounds to explore creativity, storytelling and authentic self-expression.
Again and again, people speak about finding confidence, taking creative risks, discovering new ways to express themselves and experiencing the joy of creating in a supportive community.
Here are just a few of their reflections:
“So much gratitude for making it possible to express in unexpected ways and moment after moment improvise in such a kind and loving supportive space…”
Sudha
“My heart is overflowing with gratitude. Your presence, your powerful energy, your wisdom and your incredible capacity to truly see people, have created a space where we felt safe enough to create some magic. That is such a rare gift.”
Karol
“Thank you for giving us this opportunity to explore the different aspects of our expression, all fears dropped away as soon as it started and it just became such a joy to be together all “
Arupa
“Thank you Sutara for offering us your know how, time, and energy. It is lovely and inspiring to be part of your drama workshop and to find more freedom of expression, that has been hidden for long.”
Radha Ma
“Thank you for giving me the opportunity to try improvisation. Totally out of my comfort zone… I’d certainly like to do some more.”
